is a vase with oils in it, and small wooden sticks that absorb the oils
then disperse the scent..

I recommend the 100% soybean candles. If candles don't say

they are 100% soybean, it means they have petroleum in them. I don't

candles have it in them. The cheaper the candle, the more petroleum. The

electricity or having a candle lit. Once again, you get what you pay for.
The more spendy types run appr. 25.00-40.00 but last anywhere from 6
months to over a year. Just remember to flip the sticks when you no
longer smell the scent.

I use fragrance lamps too. They are safer and the smell lingers

to several rooms instead of a secluded area like candles.

I use the flameless, scented led candles. They're pretty much

everywhere now but Brookstone has some very good ones. For tea lights, I

use led also. They're beautiful and I don't have to worry about wax mess

forget scented candles, if you want a nice aroma without smoke

a nice oil burner is what you want, i use brass ones, a small tealight
under it, & off you go, you put water in the holder, & a few drops of oil
in it & it gently makes ur room smell, for the duration of the candle &
beyond, during the day i use oil such as lemongrass, its an invigorating,
beautiful clean smell, at night lavender & vanilla are relaxing, oils are
cheap & last for ages as you only use a couple of drops & you can learn
what you like & mix ur own, its a great, safe way to fragrance ur home, in
any room,

i use ones like these, but you can get them in ceramic, & nice ones with
glass dishes on top

I use candles only on special occasions & only soy candles as

they are cleaner & longer burning. For scenting I use many diffusers

windowsills.

Also another idea I have used when a favorite fragrance comes out
seasonally or just when the budget runs a little tight (good quality soy
candles & diffusers can get expensive when used regularly) is to buy the
jar version of a candle (2.00-5.00) & a candle warming plate (4.96 at
Walmart). It warms/melts the candle in the jar therefore you can scent the
house without a flame. And can make a candle last SO much longer as it
basically reusable instead of the wax melting away.
